MRPL is down today and try to pick it at around 65. As per me it is going to cross Rs. 80 within a few days. Disclosure - I am holding this stock....

Probably they may be waiting for final confirmation of the news. Not sure. Even otherwise MRPL is a good buy at current levels in view of their outstanding performance during last year and Q1 as well. I feel it is high time this stock should be traded above Rs. 100. ...

I had read the article,but both NDTV or the CNBC had not taken this up for their review in their visual media for some reason not known, they could have lined up MRPL officials to comment on this for the benifit of the investors and the Govt of india which is major stake holder through ONGC.
Media is always interested in Pvt playes like Reliance etc with their stories ,rather than supporting events and business of public sector companies like MRPL,NEYVELI etc

I had read the article,but both NDTV or the CNBC had not taken this up for their review in their visual media for some reason not known, they could have lined up MRPL officials to comment on this for the benifit of the investors and the Govt of india which is major stake holder through ONGC.
Media is always interested in Pvt playes like Reliance etc with their stories ,rather than supporting events and business of public sector companies like MRPL,NEYVELI etc...

As per news appearing in a leading Gulf daily, MRPL secured huge orders from Iran for supply of diesel. Production facilities in Iran is suffering due to obsolte plant and machinery and cannot meet the demand through local production. MRPL already has splendid results in Q1, and dont get surprised if this stock cross Rs. 100 within the next six months. Good buy at current level.

India's Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd will sell an additional 210,000 tonnes of diesel to Iran by December, Managing Director R. Rajamani told Reuters on Tuesday.
This would raise MRPL's diesel sales to Iran to 450,000 tonnes, he said.
In May, the company finalised a deal to sell 240,000 tonnes of diesel to Iran by sending a 30,000-tonne cargo every month until December, helping fill a void left after Reliance Industries...

MRPL's refining margins are proportional to value of crude, as crude rises the refining margins for mrpl too will increase. and If we check last quater result it has already achived half the net profit it showed in financial year and crude in the second quater is trading between 113 to 145 which is nearly double it was trading exactly a year back. Which means the second quater results too will be a 100% growth compared to last years second quater, which will again reduce the pe of the stock its trading at. Very good buy to fight against inflation and crude. Its buy at every dip to achive atleast a target of 110. No doubt one can double once money in a year or say. I am not a analyist, views are most welcome and let me know if i am wrong....
