Star and Balaji Telefilms deal means that the content supply agreement between Star and Balaji will be modified to remove the restrictions of exclusivity regarding prime slots. Balaji has entered into a very high production cost shows like Mahabharata, so all this will definitely have an impact on margins a bit for FY09 and FY10.

I remain underweight on commodity stocks. Aluminium prices going to come down post olympics. However, lead, Zinc, Nickel, tin, copper would see more demand from china....

Rakesh Arora of Macquarie said he would revise the Hindalco price target marginally down from Rs 184 and that he is positive on the aluminium prices may remain at USD 3,000 per tonne. He expects a 7-8% EPS growth for Hindalco in FY10.
