C & C Constructions Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders of the Company by way of postal ballot have approved the Special Resolutions for Consent / Confirmation for Board Resolution giving corporate guarantee under section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956 and for Previous authority of shareholders in respect of making investment, giving loans / guarantees and providing security in terms of section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956, with requisite and overwhelming majority....

On the growth corridor.
Despite being a small cap stock with liquidity issues and vulnerable to steep price declines, the growth prospects over the long term could compensate for the short term risks involved.

C & C Constructions Limited has informed the Exchange that "C & C Constructions Ltd, a Gurgaon based infrastructure development company has bagged four orders valued at Rs.963 crores for improvement/Upgradation of State Highway roads from the Bihar Government. Of these orders Rs.578 crores are with its long standing joint venture partner M/s BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd. The balance orders of Rs. 385 crores are in its own name. These orders have to be executed over an average period of 33 months. The presence of C & C Constructions Ltd in Bihar has been further reinforced by these orders. It may be recalled that the company has been operating successfully in this state since 2005 and has projects worth Rs.615 crores under execution with its joint venture partner in the state. The order book of C & C Constructions Ltd has swelled to over Rs.2100 crores .The company closed FY 2007-08 with a top line of Rs.530 crores. The current year will see an appreciable increase in contracting revenue"....
