In bear run market will not look at locked value. Prices will go up if there is any value unlock iniative in near future...

Considering equity base of 16.8 cr shares and PV business value of 6350 crores(considering valuations based on stake sale) the value comes to 384 rs per share apart from nearly 120 rs of bv . SO to me the share can climb to minimum of Rs 500 in 1-1.5 years. This looks good..go and buy Moserbaser

Why do they have losses in their balance sheet? have they overdone on the vertical integration by producing cheap CDs while buying the rights of movies at very high price. Though this new move seems to be very logical in value addition of plastic process. Who is their technology partner? Please advise. nsb35...

Dear Guest,
In the whole world, you got MoserBaer to short and that too at 100. Go and slap your financial advisor. MoserBaer is one of most aggressive indian company which is doing excellent. Have any expert said that Moser Baer\\`s performance is bad (forget the loss shown in last quarter). Profit and Losses mostly misguides the common man as he/she does not have any knowledge of accounting.
My advice to you is cover your short as soon a possible. Moser Baer is one of stocks that move rapidly. If it continued upmove it can touch 170 in few days only. Good luck...

A consortium of investors including Nomura, CDC Group, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, IDFC PE and IDFC are acquiring a 6.5% stake in Moser Baer’s photovoltaic (PV) arm for Rs 411 crore. The transaction values the PV arm at Rs 6,350 crore. Moser Baer said it could raise additional funds for the business of up to Rs 200 crore by the end of the financial year.

Moser Baer plans to utilise the capital infusion of 8.11 bln rupees
through private equity funding to raise the crystalline silicon cell and amorphous silicon thin film capacity to 180MW and 120 MW respectively. Currently, the company has a 80MW crystalline silicon cell manufacturing capacity and amorphous silicon thin film capacity OF 40MW. Crystalline silicon cell is a type of photovoltaic cell made from a single crystal or a polycrystalline slice of silicon.
