Touted to be the next generation in mobile technology, 3G services will enable you to access Internet on the move with a speed of upto 3.6 Mbps and allow you to do video calling, watch mobile TV and other media rich applications. In a press conference, Mr A. Subramanian, Chief General Manager, Chennai Telephones told “In about two months, we expect to add another 250 Node B stations to the existing network of about 300 units to provide seamless 3G connectivity across Chennai and adjoining districts”. Various Demos like Streaming a Youtube without buffering, watching live television on the device effortlessly and a remote video monitoring feature, where video footage from a camera plugged to a broadband facility in South Korea streamed effortlessly on a 3G-supported mobile handset, were done at the event which showcased the true potential of 3G technology. In this scheme, all the local voice calls and video calls are going to cost 30 paise/min and all the STD video calls will be 50 paise/min. Data usage charges are currently planned at 1 ps/10 kb but there is a possibility that the rates may decrease in due time. With its first year introductory offer of tariffs comparatively much lower than 2G call charges, Chennai Telephones hopes to gain 1.5 lakh users over the next couple of months. BSNL officials added that the mobile TV application offered under a tie-up with a content provider currently showcases 24 channels and would be increased with user demand. Chennai Telephones have also tweaked its 3G infrastructure to enable 2G users who migrate to a 3G connection to retain the same existing number with no migration charges. TO PATIENCE, I have been to Konark, Dhableshwar Island (off Cuttack), etc when I was around 12. Things must have changed drastically now. I used to go for swim on Puri beach for 3-4 hrs :) Was looking like a fisherman`s kid when we came back from 3 wks holiday..ROFL...

Wow, i envy you Hansal Saab. I did bit of swimming, the tide is pretty friendly in Puri beach however my wife did not let me and my kid to go deep..:-) Maybe she was scared its expiry time and positions are not rolledover lol

Very good call, yes 19000 is very easy in next week.

Infact once NF moves above 6300 then 7300 should come before FEB 2010 and if it rains properly then with no drought fear by first week of Jan 2010 we could see 7300-7500 on NF.

Yes we went to the zoo and i came to know it has the highest number of tigers in any zoo in asia and is spread over 2000+ acres.
Fare in PURI was cheap however mayfair lagoon in BBSR is pretty expensive on par with the metros.

Thank you very much for the link, i will try for a month as after month i will be back on my terminal.
Right now i am missing a lot of opportunities in arbi as i am not able to access my s/w during the move.
However couple of years back i had bought a s/w from a small company which will need my user name password information and fetch me all scripts with arbi opportunities but it works only with browser based application :-((

:-) Do not worry in last few weeks DII`s pulled out 1000+ and deployed this 100 today as they knew FII will be 400 negative.

THINK about it lol, so there will be a TIME when FIIS sell some more and automated s/w creates the SHORT and these DII`s spoil bear dreams once more..lol

Public money will go for TOSS in long run, all these MF for retirement will be worth TISSUE paper.
