CSLA report on BF U (though a very old one Sep 07)

BF Utilities:

BF Utilities’ Bangalore – Mysore expressway project is currently stuck due to the lack of land availability attributable to political hurdles. However, two events in the near-term could bring in favourable conditions. Firstly, the contempt of Supreme Court case is likely to be heard during Sep’07 and a potential verdict in favour of BFUT will be a big positive. Secondly, the expected change of Government at the state of Karnataka on October 03, 2007 could ease political hurdles of the project. The current stock price is 30% discount to the NAV of the phase I of the project and the remaining Phase II & III would add another Rs4,000/share to the NAV.

Even RS 30 is a good price for satyam to exit. Tonight the ADRs are going to hit zero dollars.

Tomorrow government will stop trading in satyam before trading commmences!!

How would one know that the promotors have increased their stake in this stock. Please advise . This is a highly speculative stock & I would like to hold it in my portfolio. The first time I bought it at 1500 and sold it at 2500 levels and since then the falling trend has made it reach 600. Should it be wise to enter now or wait for a correction ?...

It is only an operators driven stock. As u rightly said, profits are as good as NIL and on that basis, no one can buy even at this rate. Thanks.

Hi Ravindra, please advise as to why this stock would go to 3500 levels in the next 3 months. As I mentioned earlier, I had also bought it at 1500 levels a few months ago and sold it at 2500 levels. Since then it started its downward journey and is at 500 levels now. Is it worth entering it now and if yes, why ?? Profits are as good as NIL. Then whats the reason ?
