markets at 2500-4000!!!!!1i wont be surprised to see markets at those levels.
still many many stocks are trading at v high rates in real estate,infra and capital goods.
my worst mightmare could come in 2-3 yrs with 2000-4000 levels.

You need to be very good to play shorts effectively or else you may be on the other end of the deal.
Exploit flaws in regulation wherein Midcaps can go down far more than the large caps on a given day and choose them as your targets, FII angle should also be played into.
As always adhere caution.

Lokesh, In case i get to invest i will invest for very long term and that will be more than 3-5 years!! Unless there is some dramatic bull run which is unlikely i think, i will simply not sell what i buy....

That`s good. You are absolutely correct. All investor lost confidence in share market. I checked MB after a gap of 3 months means you can understand how actively i`m in share market. I`m also doing same. But will think to put money for long term(2-3yrs) after some time.

The situation is very depressing. I have not made any trades and not going to do so for some more time. Many of the heavyweights are so cheap and in 52wk lows, which is very tempting. But in general, people lost confidence and also not much money to invest because of the huge slide. I dont think there is anyone who escaped the turmoil. What about you?

I`m doing fine. How about you? I`m sitting on huge loss, sure i will not be the only one. The losses now nearly 4L. But i will still wait and see if i could survive this crash and even if i have to wait years for this. May be good lesson to learn. All heavyweights Nse-50 look so cheap. Not going to buy any now. No need for hurry i think, you will enough time for buying as market will not race ahead anytime soon. Any trades from you?...
