Hi Pranky,
I am still holding BOC by all means as on date. I alos purchased small qty at 169 level. I will hold the same indefinately.
I have shares of PEICO and for the same company had given buy back at Rs 120 before 4 years and now offering Rs 260.
Gold will remain always yellow and shineing only.
Do not sell BOC and just hold the same. ...

as the holding has gone above 90% company will apply for delisting from exchanges very soon no doubt you will get rs 200 even after delisting company will exit offer to shareholders at rs 200 per share,...

I am of the opinion that BOC will touch 300 or go close to it in the near future.... medium term..!

nsemumbaibull has given a tgt for 230, they give calls on sms and on groups for free. check their site nsemumbaibull but 1 thing is sure, all of their calls have run up signifcantly till now..so hoping this counter will also move up...today it opened up at 194 and quickly went down to 185 levels..

possibility of delisting ashiana housing

Hi! i hold 200 shares of ashiana housing @ 140 levels. There is news from within the management that the mgmt people are thinking of delisting the shares from all exchanges. Can anyone please suggest me what to do? I can wait for 3-6 months. Will the share stop trading once the delisting procedure is over? What happens if i dont sell it now??
I put a search on moneycontrol to find out he effect of delisting. found similar msg in BOCIndia msgboard.. hence posting a msg here.
Pls inform as it is big money involved,

pls advice what is the short term tgt for this stock...it went quickly to 194 and now on fri volumes are almost nothing...i got 100 at 187 ...someone told me it wld goto 230 in 3weeks...kindly advice..

BOC India Ltd has revised its open offer from Rs. 165/- to Rs. 200/- per Equity Share. Now it has to be seen that why the company is keen to buy back share beside it mandatory requirement. BOC india is now a part of Linde Group which is the world's leading gases & engineering company with a turnover of Euro 12.3 billion & presence in over 100 countries. This MNC is an intelligent company with a strong management & decision makers. Beside this statutory requirement for open offer it seems that the company might go for delisting from stock exchange in next 6 months to 1 year time & may again offer for buy back of its share. The current announcement at NSE sigifies itself that the company is sitting on a cash pile of over 275 crores which is parked as fixed deposits with banks & have further made capital investment of over 300 crores which will benefit the company in future.
The Government's national steel Policy 2005 had projected the country's steel making capacity to touch 110 million tonnes by 2020. The recent developments however indicate that this projected capacity will be commissioned well ahead of 2020. The surge in steel demand & sustained upturn in this industry will continue to benefit boc India as it is major player in gases industry.
The Company is already providing over 1290 tonnes per day of gases to TISCO which will go up substantially on TISCO's huge expansion programme. Similarly 1800 tonnes per day project to Jindal Vijaynagar too is being completed by end of 3rd Quarter of current year. Reflection of which will be in year 2009's result. 700 tonnes per day requirement is from Jindal Steel. Further big orders are expected from SAIL & Raourkela Steel. Thus company's gases production will increase substancially in near future & expected to go upto 5000 tonnes per day in next 3 -5 years.
Company is growing in its Medical gases segment & has restructured its hospital care business.
Solar Cell, photo Voltaic industry is offering a potential for gases industry. BOC India has won order from Moser Bear & has established a clear lead in this segment also. Tata Power, Reliance, videocon etc. has planned to make investment of Rs. 1,00,000 Crores in this sector, which too will provide oppurtunity to BOC.
The company will also trade in Helium Gases.
It has gained orders over 450 Crores in Engineering segment which would increase further in near future.
Hydrogen Fuel could be a big trigger in this counter. Linde is agressively pursuing in the field of Hydrogen as an alternative fuel. It may take many years to materialise but will be very positive factor for long term investor.
Company has projected a growth @ 50 % in one of its meeting.
Linde's share is quoting around Euro 91 even after european market witnessed fall.
BOC India is opening a plant at Dehradun, Uttarkhand & other small plants at various places in the country. The company is poised for multiferous growth & expects a sale to be over 2000 crore in next 5 years time.
One should invest in shares of BOC India with long term perspective in mind.
It has been seen that good MNC which has repurchased its share has grown substancially in long run like Siemens / Atlas Copco / Reckit & Colman etc.
