The volume has gone up by 7 fold in today's trading and price is up 15%. What cold be the reason behind it? I have observed that this stock has big price gap between daily low and high , making it good candidate for intraday/BTST trading, though the average volume is about 5k in BSE. ...

Excellent results by Indo Tech Transformer for the first quarter ended Jun-08. Total Income has gone up by 37.52% to Rs 553.5 million in the first quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 402.5 million for quarter ended Jun-07. The Net Profit is up by 51.16% to Rs 104.3 million for quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 69 million for quarter ended Jun-07. The Operating Profit margin has improved by by 399 bps to 30.62% for current quarter as compared to 26.63% for the same period last year.

As compared to previous Mar-08 quarter, the Total Income is up by 15.7% and Net Profit by 8.08%

The EPS for quarter ended Jun-08 is Rs 9.82 as compared to Rs 6.5 for the same period last year. If current quarter’s EPS is annualized, the EPS for FY-08 would be around Rs 40. At current market price of Rs 303 the PE is 7.58....

Indo Tech Transformer declared very good results for FY-08. Net Profit is up by 48.59% to Rs 390.2 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 262.6 million for FY-07. Total Income is up by 21.73% to Rs 1,934.4 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 1,589.1 million in FY-07. The profitability improved due to better operating profit margin in FY-08 which has gone up by 524 bps to 31.05% as compared to 25.81% last year.

The EPS for FY-08 is Rs 36.71 as compared to 24.05 for FY-07. At current market price of Rs 303 the PE is 8.25. The Return on Equity is 29.96%. Price to Book Value is 2.47. The market capitalization comes to Rs 3,218 million. Market Capitalization to Net Sales is 1.7.

The Company increased the dividend to 60% for FY-08 as compared to 45% last year.
