Dear MOD,
I take this opportunity to suggest a modification.
Presently, when a boarder wants to rate any message, he has to give rating and thereafter confirm it by entering his/her user id and password. The person rating any message can be identified by anyone.
This method may be adopted while deleting any message if found offensive by any one. Presently, any one can click on 'offensive' and delete the message. This has given an opportunity to those who dislike certain messages for reasons best known to them and especially though they are not at all offensive.
You may refer to various suggestion / experiences of the senior boarders given during last 3 / 4 days under the thread "Will nifty touch 3600...".
Further, somebody has stated that it takes pretty long time / follow up with you to get the messages restored. I think that you yourself can set a deadline of say 24 hours within which you will restore the message or inform the sender of the message that the message is offensive and stands deleted.
You will certainly be able to adhere to the time limit suggested if you consider to insist on giving user id and password before clicking as offensive.
Hoping to receive your due attention.
Note- I have reproduced the message as earlier one was not displayed in full....
