It is always advisable to stick to IT stocks favoured by mutual funds Instead of averaging this scrip,you can look at some midcap front-runner from this space.
I am giving this view from my personal experience.
I am also one of those affected by entering into this scrip at higher levels.I am also yet to recover my capital.I don\\`t know how long I have to wait for that to happen....

What is the point in averaging a falling stock?
Instead you better book loss and switch to some potential frontline growth stock....

Yet another boarder is airing my feelings about the company.
With the rupee falling fast,other software comapnies have become strong or stable in the market.But not Zylog.Sure, something is wrong.

At the outset,let me tell you that I too have vested interest in the company as a shareholder.I too had high hopes after seeing Moneylife.But it has been belied.
This stock is not able to sustain its price over the weeks,as the price is going down day after day.
I suspect promoter involvement in this sordid episode as it is available now at almost half its issue price.
No wonder if it is to retrace its Rs.160 range of March-April 2008 in the near future.

MoneyLife, a respected, but little known financial magazine, describe Zylog as a fundamentally strong company with good future prospects. Also, the writer describe the current share value of Zylog as cheap.
I called the MoneyLIFE as respected because its consulting editor is Sucheta Dalal.

A verygood scrip with strong fundamentals and great projections. (not yet gone into the hands of momentum players) The share is available just near its book value and demands further accumulation. It is Showing a strong pattern of 220-290 facing stiff resistance at 300. A good long term bet. Let the market gather momentum which may not happen till the new government occupies power. (after elections which are due in may). Till then u can just enter near the lower price band as mentioned above (with a strict stop loss as per your financial health) and wait till it crosses 290. If it sustains above 290 and is able to go beyond 290 would become a history. But if it cannot cross 290 again exit your 220-230 positions before it retests 270. Hope the fellow boarders would try this strategy and make some money. ...
