more than 75% diamond industry & artificial jwellery industry is based in surat gujarat as & if you listens news even on regular news channels you must have heard that almost 90% units are closed due to world wide financial crisis so the hopes of survival are little as of now may be after two years these companies will be back on track but as of now all are ZERO so investment in this sector is not advisable by any means ...

as everyone knows that diamond industry is in trouble & the international markets are in recession so the days ahead are quite difficult instead gitanjli is a good buy as the company has indian market exposure also & a profit making unit...
