Get out now as seen 17% jump from the lows buy at around 28-30 dont expect huge jump inflation is calling in for further rate hike plus govt giving pay commission not bothered by the fiscal deficit. except crude all factors are against any rally, if that also starts strengthning the stock will be hammered so be very cautious....

If you sell now there will be Capital gains tax. But your short term gain is very tempting. The selling option and wait for a re-entry price looks good in the current scenario.

Sure all the share holders will get the dividend. Only those who purchase the stock after July 18, 2008 they will not get the dividend. I mean to say the stock should be available in your demat before 18th july then only you are entitle for dividend..

Hope u understand

Thanks..

SELL ashok leyland immediately as it has already rallied a lot . in times of high interest rates and slowing economy, commercial auto makers are hit hard most . stock will soon see levels of below rs 25/-...

To penny lover.

Auto shares are subjected to interest rate variations effected by banks. So you can consider to unload apart of your holding.

As you would have purchased the shares around Rs.29.00 to Rs.29.75(please include the brokerage and taxes and arrive at the cost per share) and If there is a further price rise of 5% to 10% in the CMP in the days to come, You can consider to unload a part of your holdings and book the profit in the place of dividend you could not get. When ever you buy a share, consider the dividend book closure dates, and also fix a target to part some shares to get a 15 to 20 percent profit in the transaction. When the target is reached, don't have sentiments with the shares and keep silent.
A.leyland is having alarge expansion plan in India with germen collaboration. Wish you all the best.
