India`s largest power generator NTPC has signed a long-term power purchase agreement with North Delhi Power (NDPL) for supply of power from its various power stations in New Delhi, reports Business Standard.

The agreement which was signed by the two companies comes after the assignment of power purchase functions to the Distribution Licensees of Delhi.

NTPC is the largest thermal power generating company of India having a core business is engineering, construction and operation of power-generating plants. It also provides consultancy in power plant construction and power generation to companies in India and abroad.
