Merger is taking place with MKJ Jwellary a nonlisted group company
Could you please study the company in details for investing
4 crore equity company is having about 30 crore inventory stocks of diamonds and gold.Available at just 12-15 in these days....

Zodiac JRD as you mentioned is a jewellery manufacturer, bombay based.. yes the nature of the business is such (valuations of diamonds which is relative judgement) that the company has zero debt and as you mentioned almost 30Cr worth of inventory.. current market cap is close to Rs 6.36Cr Sales = 12Cr The company has been paying 5% divident thats about 50 paisa per share thats 3% divident consistently The company has increased the holding of MKJ Jewellery shares from 60,000 shares to 1,51,800 so looks like the promoters have transferred money from Zodiac JRD to promoters at a rate of Rs 80+ per share and now they are also merging the company MKJ Jewellery with Zodiac JRD.. All said and done Zodiac JRD has lot of value.. Will be difficult to get the value out of the company as I have not see any increase in promoter shareholding .. which indicates an increase in share value.. (we will have to wait to see if they are increasing holding.. as the merger is yet to take place) all in al Zodiac JRD is a safe bet as it has Zero debt and the company is well established.. in its area of business.. intrinsic value is much more than current market cap (though the company does run up to good highs ) recent high was 22Cr market cap in Feb 2008 and lifetime high was 72Cr on Oct 1994 (Just after public issue) =happy investing....

Actually the guest is partially right. Many outlets in malls are not making even sales enough to pay the rent forget profits. Do check with insiders before shouting down people just because they do not have login ids. Remember what the company declares as accounts to stock exchanges may not be the correct picture....
