Dear genghiskhan,
Now a days the markets are extremely dynamic... GAIL is a long term bet.
It has shown fantastic growth in the last two quarters, but the Q3 numbers will not be as great as they were for Q1 and Q2... nevertheless GAIL will close FY09 with fantastic growth in topline and bottomline as compared YoY.
Expect good dividends from GAIL... its one of the safest bets in the Indian stock market just like NTPC and BHEL and Powergrid.

it moves at a snail`s pace... once in every 6 months sharp moves will be there. on a day to day basis nothing much left for traders

Yes fully agreed. At this level the share has a resistance and hence it should fall from there.

Dear pawan_jsr,
Add more of GAIL at close to 200 levels... its extremely cheap as per valuations...
Regarding targets, I have told myself that this is not the time for short term tradings but a time to build a long term portfolio and hence I should not even think of any targets as of now, just keep buying...
We are not going anywhere till the March of 2010..
