Dear Sourav. I have also received the dividend but @28% where as earlier they announced 40%. Please let me know at what rate you got the dividend. Is it possible that at AGM they reduced it after the board of directors earlier recommended more.

Earlier the board of directors of BOI recommended a dividend of 40% However I received only 28% There are two possibilities for the difference.
a) In the AGM only reduced dividend was approved, for which there was no corporate info and no mention on the nse website either.
b)the difference of 12% may have been given as interim dividend earlier which I may not have received.

Dear track, I received Rs 4 as dividend for each share held. I have added BOI recently into my portfolio so am not getting any previous dividend [if any]. I would request you to get in touch with your broker on this issue. regards, Sourav...
