In the current bear market only those companies will outperform the market which are will established for more than 10-20 years and continuously dividend paying. My list/holdings is/are:
1. Deepak Fertilisers
2. Alembic Ltd
3. Shipping Corporation
4. Andhra Bank
5. Alok Industries
6. Indian Hotels
7. Piramal Healthcare
8. Tata Chemicals

the div. yield is 7% in case of Deepak fertilisers.

sooner than later the markets will recognise the strength in the scrips given in the list under this thread. Large caps are not going to outperform in next 6 months as whenever any rally comes into large caps a lot of selling will come from MF`s, FII`s and HNI`s.

Thanks for your compliments. I expect a 35% dividend from Deepak fert this year too. So on 800 shares I would get Rs. 2800 as dividend around June 2009. What are your views?

I have been trading in Deepak for more than 5 years. I earned every time. Now I am holding it at 67 for last 3-4 months. First target is 68, but I am waiting for the second target of 80 which may come in 2-3 months.

Fundamentals can be improved with hard work if direction is right and huge growth potential is available. It is various type of taxes on DTH service which is playing havoc. If Government reduces it then thw whole sector will benefit from it.
