Hi , i am honesty track. i am back from vacation.
to gautam56.

if you are holding marico 1000 shares and getting few at lower cost
say at 47 , 45 ...etc buy and average your 62 per share.

however do not sell marico during this current market phase where unstability exists in every good share.

I am not a TA . but marico never goes down due to
1 the percentage of holding by various bodies promoters, Institutions, Individuals.

i do not think anyone who is a serious investor marico sell their shares.

I bought 1000 shares at an average cost of 69/- in the month of April this year.Received decent dividend too since then.
Will it be prudent and justified to sell 500 shares around 52/- and cover up at around 42/- to reduce the cost of holding? Plz advise.
This business model clicked quite well for the other shares in my large, diversified portfolio since Oct`28th.

I would think its best to just hold marico at this stage...no point selling.. marico is one of the few shares, that has held is own = showed strength in the past couple of months, while most other shares have fallen drastically.
I do not see any trigger where this can go very low, you might have noted that a lower prices, sellers do not exist.

I would think its best to just hold marico at this stage...no point selling.. marico is one of the few shares, that has held is own = showed strength in the past couple of months, while most other shares have fallen drastically.
I do not see any trigger where this can go very low, you might have noted that a lower prices, sellers do not exist.

my favorite stock since 1997 . I haven`t sold a single stock since i started buying marico from 1997 onwards. A regular dividend paying company. usually there are 3 - 4 dividends every year. totals to 75 to 85 percent.
They have given twice bonus shares 1:1. and a stock split 10 to 1 in 2005/2006.
i am always positive on marico
