GIC Hsg.finance is an excellent scrip. Investors with small budget proposals, can get small lots at convenience. As an alternative, they can consider LIC HSG FINANCE Ltd shares also. My inner feeling is, both will come together in a few years, as many changes are to take place in Insurance market after the StateBank act amendment bill. This is just a food for thought.

1. For leave it: the dates of book colosure and AGM are all over. The 40%dividend payment will be by28-08-08.

2. same reply as above.

3. To the guest--mail dated.17-05-08
a. He would have seen the one month target and even beyond by now.
b. The effect of 40% dividend(increased from 30% paid last year ) is now nothing. At the time his posting the Qn. the market price lifted it to Rs.65.00.
