Hi,
I watched this interview absolute crap
There are are many point one can differ
But one or two i want to respond
She is unable to buy flat in Mumbai because Muslim
And also saif ali khan etc
1 instead of making sweeping allegation she must come out
with more details
2 Being a social activist (her claim) there are sufficient laws in the country against religious discrimination to proceed if you have facts
3 Why she is not saying about Mohalla politics?
Why isolate your self from the rest and then blame the rest for discrimination?
4 I know they will have 100 logic to do that, but at least let her come out with one positive act and take leadership of that
5 her remarks \"Khans Are Ruling Bollywood\" is that secular?
On top of all Karan was leading the interview in certain way
Very cheap

ISLAMABAD: Amid intense speculation about his future after stepping down, former President Pervez Musharraf has denied reports that he would leave his \"first love\" Pakistan and settle in another country, saying his resignation did not reflect a \"defeat\".
\"My resignation as President does not reflect my defeat as I resigned in the interest of Pakistan and its people,\" Musharraf was quoted by Geo News channel as saying to several delegations that met him yesterday.
Musharraf, who quit on Monday to avert his impeachment by the Pakistan People\'s Party-led ruling coalition, told the delegations that he did not intend to leave Pakistan as it was his \"first love\".
He said he would soon issue a white paper on the economy as he had promised in his last address to the nation on Monday. The channel reported that he would meet some politicians today.
Musharraf described as \"baseless\" the media reports that said he would move to the US, where his son runs a well-established business, after travelling to Saudi Arabia in the near future to perform Umra, a pilgrimage to Mecca.
The delegations met Musharraf at the President\'s camp office or lodge, the name given to the former army chief\'s residence in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. Musharraf did not vacate the army chief\'s residence even after doffing his military uniform late last year.

The list, which was handed over to Gujarat in May after the Jaipur blasts, is based on the statement given to the MP police on March 29 by high-ranking SIMI leader Ameel Pervez, who had mentioned during interrogation the names of persons who had attended a SIMI camp for training in use of weapons at Khumtir dargah near Pavagadh, about 40 km from Vadodara.
A retired IPS officer remarked: \"The arrests didn\'t require any effort. None of those arrested were in hiding. They were all picked up from their homes in Gujarat.\" Apart from the Indore list, the Gujarat police also did not keep track of 123 SIMI activists who were earlier arrested in a swoop in Surat in 2001. Four of the arrested persons were also in the long Surat list but had subsequently been released on bail.
The police did not keep track of the movements of these SIMI activists, even though it was clear from the manner in which many of them swallowed their phone SIM cards upon arrest in Surat that they were hardened operatives of a banned organisation.
Police dealt with the Surat case in a casual manner even though some of these activists had confessed that they had attended terrorist camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Yet, the police did not keep them under surveillance and let them to roam around freely to plot the bomb blasts while out on bail. Only now, police are looking out for hard-core elements in the list of 123.
These include Mohammed Rafiq Ismail Dadu of Modasa in Sabarkantha who had admitted he attended a terror camp in Afghanistan. Dadu, like many others, have not been reporting regularly before the police, as was the condition laid down by the court while granting bail. Strangely, the police did not look at their absence with any suspicion. -toi

If President Pervez Musharraf chooses to resign rather than face impeachment, would he get a “safe exit”? If he does, would he remain in Pakistan or go abroad? If he decides to go abroad, is Turkey his destination or the U.S.? If he is impeached, would he be tried?
As the tempo builds up for the impeachment of the retired General Musharraf, these questions are uppermost on everyone’s minds, but there are no clear answers yet, only a whole lot of rumours and speculation.
One story doing the rounds has it that General Musharraf wants to step down, provided the ruling coalition guarantees it would grant him an amnesty, and that the Army is working on getting him such an assurance.
Another rumour doing the rounds is that General Musharraf has told go-betweens that he does not have the money to live abroad and has asked the ruling coalition for a guarantee that if he resigns, he should be allowed to live in peace in Karachi.
General Musharraf himself is playing his cards close to the chest. Parliamentarians from the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and his spokesman have said he would remain in office and fight back all moves to oust him, but no one really knows his plan of action.
Even if he is determined to fight back, a range of options are available to him, from using his powers to dissolve Parliament and dismissing the government, moving the Supreme Court against the impeachment resolution, or going the “democratic” way of defending himself against the charges when they come up before Parliament.
On Monday, he reportedly hosted a party for his 65th birthday, combined with a pre-wedding mehendi function for a relative. The three service chiefs and family members attended. His official residence in Rawalpindi was said to be decorated with marigolds for the double celebration. People read this either as a sign that he is not giving up without a fight, or one of sheer bravado.
General Musharraf is also set to host a midnight function on Wednesday ahead of the August 14 Independence Day, which would be telecast live on the state-run Pakistan Television, after a week-long wrangle with the government. For the past eight years, this programme has been beamed by PTV from the presidency, but this year, the Prime Minister laid claim to it, conceding the battle only on Tuesday.
Now, the focus is on whether General Musharraf would use the function to make an “address to the nation” on the moves to impeach him, and to cast some light on what his next moves might be. Political analysts are saying that by declaring it would include corruption in the charge sheet against General Musharraf, the coalition is making it difficult for him to step down. If he resigns now, it would be taken as an admission of corruption.
Pakistan People’s Party leader Asif Ali Zardari had said that General Musharraf siphoned off U.S. military aid into personal accounts to the tune of $7 million a year. General Musharraf has rubbished the allegation, and analysts are saying that if he chooses to contest the impeachment, this is a charge that the ruling alliance finds hardest to substantiate.hindu-
