Cipla Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2008:

The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1794.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1257.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 9605.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 11627.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 7004.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 6680.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 36687.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 43520.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.

The figures for the year ended March 31, 2007 are Audited.
