I guess the result is already factored into the price

At 15 Cr profit(qtr) and around 22 Cr outstanding shares .. the EPS works around 15*4/22 ~ Rs 3

At a P/E of around 10-12 (for textile) .. the pricing of Rs 30-36 is reasonable.

Obviously this is a thumb rule.

Remember the market cap of Arvind is around Rs 700 Cr at todays prices . This doesnt make it a mid cap stock also.

Most of the attention and liquidity in the market is focussed towards large cap stock.

Patience is all i can say ... a good time to keep on buying ....Arvind is a stock for a patient and a value based investor ...

a)it plans a 10 per cent expansion in its denim fabric manufacturing capacity by next year,

b) Arvind Limited is also consolidating its other verticals like garments and real estate

c) it expects government clearances for its real estate projects in next four months

d) The company is planning low cost as well as mid priced housing in Khatraj, Jetlaj, Santej and Ahmedabad. "We have around 2 million sq yards of properties coming up in areas like Santej, Khatraj, and Jetlaj, and another 3.5 lakh in Ahmedabad city....

First the worst seems to be over and that saying a lot because Arvind had seen highs of Rs 150 earlier and fell down to Rs 15 but those bad days are probably finished for the stock. We can see a target of Rs 55-60 that means there is a lot of headroom even currently at current prices. There is a stop which is roughly around Rs 30. The stop is wide because the stock has rallied a lot an the stock needs time to catch up. But in either case whether you are in investor or a trader you might like to look at the stock, a buy on dips and you could expect a very significant gain over the next one year."...

Looking at brokers feedback on the internet and news , would agree with you on the bubble.

However I will be taking that as an opportunity to buy more :)

My plan is to keep the stock till Jul -Oct next year. ( basically giving the company enough time to recover fundamentally from the recession , sell its land bank and if possible give a plan for splitting the company)

Markets are moving from large cap to mid cap small cap companies. Also qtr ending sep 30 results anticipation may be driving up the prices.

If no liquidity constraints restrict the market we could the price go upto Rs 65 too in the coming months.
