ICICI bank looking very weak...even if it comes back around 520 at end of day today...Next week, it can again drop to sub 500 level.....so ICICI short needs not be covered, I guess ;-))...

ICICI Bank will not fail as government of India will not allow it to fell. So depositors need not worry. If any failure happens, bank will be nationalised or Government may acquire ICICI Bank through SBI and making SBI a giant in the banking sector. It is just guess and not confirmed...

sure, Rally of ICICI Bank is possible next week on the back of positive inflation data plus passage of bailout package. But any rally in this stock will be shorting opportunity. Now stocs resistance is placed at around 565 level. But shorting future is not good idea. It will be better to buy puts of the stock to get protected from any speculator rally....

Dear aavinay, BS explanation: Many PLAYers like me did not BET big on Wednesday! :):) Today was the day to do that. Same thing what you did.. SHORT first and then waited patiently to build that LONG positions! :) As of now, LOW VOLUME GAME is going on! Ppl who have written those PUT calls for 3650.00,3700.00, 3800 were DESPERATE to see LOWS today! :) Those PLAYers would have SHORTed more heavily in this OverSOLD market by spreading all kind of BS stories! :) Let us wait and watch the GAME now! :) Gud luk & happy investing! :)...
