Many thanks for your message. Unfortunately it is not possible
to give exact time scale of the given targets. Dow fell by full
41% in three months in October 1987. It also fell by 10% in 8
months in 2004 ( From February to October 2004 ) Incidentally
it fell to 9660 on 25 October 2004, the level where Dow is trying
to find support today.

I am working on a formula to find time span of corrections but
I think I will end up with two/three different values, one of
which will occur.

Many many thanks for your compliments.

You may be surprised to know that I have been buying Nifty
Puts and exiting at support levels many times in one month
in the last 12 months. It brought a fortune to me.

But similar fortune cannot be made In CALL OPTIONS in new
Bull phase as market rises continiously in one direction almost
without much volatility. Market crashes brings huge volatility
which in turn make Put Options a virtual gold mine. Those who
heeded my advice in the last one year also made similar fortunes.

why you are amazed ? For my foresight of 3600. You have written
I could not foresee 3600 today. I have been predicting it for
months. Movements of Index do not keep calender with them. The
target level can come any day depending on global cues and other
news flow.

But you are right in every way. Some people manage to find fault
even in the best things.

Keep in up. We need some spice in our food....

Dear HLN, This is my first post to you ever. I have read many of your posts so far.What you have predicted so many months back has come exactly true today. You definitely deserve utmost praise for this prediction.Please accept my heartfelt congratulations. I can say you know your TA and EWT theory quite well.I suggest you to predict only indices levels in future with very very broad time indications ( + or - three to six months )and not commit on the exact time frame which is most difficult to predict as everyone knows.However even this cannot deflect anything away from the credit you richly deserve. I always feel we have to give credit where it is due and between you & Kalidas , MMB has been served well in the last one year. Coming to the future , please keep up the good work and give us your broad view on when you expect the U turn in the markets. Personally I have been investing continously since Oct / Nov 2007 and continue to buy even now. By nature and reasoning , I am a very LT investor who normally holds shares for 3 + years at the minimum. To be frank I have managed to get a tremendous CAGR in the last ten years ( way way out of normal expectations) by asset swapping across asset classes and sectoral rotations inside the stock markets , long term front running in FII investible sectors.Even as a LT investor , I feel that picking shares at lower index levels can be definitely helpful as this will increase the volume of purchase as well giving a better of margin of safety in price. I still believe sensex 22000 levels are possible in second half of 2009 and even started a thread to that effect sometime back.Your take will be useful. regards, wbuffett001...

Seems that Mr. HLN is the captain of the Ship with Many innocent investors onboard. His ship will sink to the bottom of blue see, even when there is no storm, just because of his wierd so called techincal analysis, and will take full toll on the innocent investors listening and subscribing to his paid services. He is always seem beating his own drum for predicting levels correct, which actually he predicts to be in month of January and gradually keeps moving the timeframe as the market progresses. Somewhere in no mans land, his levels are reached in last quarter of year ( which are anyways supposed to come ), he will come out with his drum. God save those who are doomed by this person. ...

when dow goes down u comes into picture & when mkt goes against ur predictions then u disappear for so many weeks. So dont shout now about ur thread, people have spoiled big money in ur put calls in last one year....

still a lot is left...as when bull run starts and if it is predicted at 1000..but it continues and run to 1300...so when bear market starts and if it is predicted at 3600 than it may cont. to run 2600. you know the reosan well.you had sending messages about nifty to touch 3600. so you know the reason. add one more in that. our financial system is on the sdge to crack.you know that sub-prime in US was started in sept 07..and market started crash here after 5 months. now in US and europe financial orgahisations had craked. so it is obviouse that indian financial org will crash may be within six months. but we can`t know about it now. all are hidden. better you watch finance minister body language and his face. that speaks everything. ...
