yes it is hovering at 55 levels and looks like consolidating. Earlier it was at 45 from where it crossed 60 and retrieved to 55. As far as I know, IFGL is not a steel manufacturer, but they are mfg and supplying equipments to support steel production. Even earlier also I have mentioned it is a slow mover, but since this is a fast growing Company, their share price should steadily gain without much of set backs. If they really achieve the target of 1000 crores during this financial year, then this stock will gain substantially. ...

ifgl is hovering around 55 from past few days. are u declaring it as a consolidation phase for the scrip? crude prices are falling from 130 to 120 and steel industry hopes to be come out of the goernment restrictions gradually as steel prices are started to comes down. what you will suggest for this scrip now?

Since past two months IFGL always had some good news for the investors:-
- Aquisition of Hofmann, Germany.
- Advance Income Tax settlement.
- ISO 14001 Certification.
- Expansion plans in India worth 50 Cr.
- Targetting 1000 Cr combined turnover
- Good results during Q1.
Consequent to the declaration of good results, stock now showing more strength. If IFGL can find support at 55 levels and consoldate at this level then it will be a good singn.

As per my expecation, in medium term it should reach Rs.100 and long term it can reach Rs. 500. They have set a 1000 Cr combined turover target for this financial year, which is very high as per present set up, still if they are targetting that means there is some more big plans to be unveiled in due course. As far as I noticed the management is trustworthy and they are very serious about developing the biz....

Sunflag Iron - Good chances to reach Rs. 25 in short term.
Surana - May gain well from current levels.
Apollo Tyres - Available at best price. Can do well in short term. Target Rs. 35-40.
LG Balakrishnan - Bottomed out. Ideal buy range Rs.12 - Rs. 13.
Target Rs. 20.

Hi psgs bhai, I have around 25 in my Portfolio and not listing out all. IFGL Refractory and Sunflag Iron are my latest additions. I have just noticed another stock Surana Industries. Reg Biocn, I am also very much positive. Anyways prevailing market conditions not in favour of investors and need to be very watchful. Regds.....KJP

Dear Kiran, Now a days it is very difficult see many such Companies having concern about the investors. Investors of IFGL are well informed of each and every developments taking palce in the Company, on a regular basis. Even the results are published, well on time....

What i like most in this company is its investor friendly approach. I had some shares in physical form which i did not get it transfered well in time as the same was misplaced. On getting the shares, i approached the company and they were very helpful (especially the company secretary and his team) in resolving the transfer. To me it appears, the company is professionally managed.

Stand alone performance (Q1 - 2008) :-
Turnover - 48.44 Crores (Prev yr39.27 Cr)
NetProfit- 6.27 Cr. (Prev 2.61)
EPS - 1.81 (Prev 0.75)
Consolidated performance:-
Turnover - 104 Crores (Prev yr 90 Cr)
NetProfit- 10.60 Cr. (Prev 4.68)
EPS - 3.06 (Prev 1.38)
Comany aiming to achieve Rs. 1000 crore turnover during this year.
