Hindustan Unilever Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on April 28, 2008 has approved a change in the Accounting year of the Company to commence from April 1st of every year and to end on March 31st of the following year. Consequently, as a transitionary arrangement, the next Annual Accounts and Report of the Company will be period of 15 months commencing January 1st 2008 and ending March 31, 2009. Further a copy of the press release dated April 28, 2008, titled "Change of Financial Year” shall be available on the NSE website (http://www.nseindia.com) under: Corporates > Latest Announcements and on the Extranet Server (/Common/Corporate Announcements).
