with oil dropping 5 dollars its better to switch to sonething like punjlloyd, maruti, axis bank for short term gain. one can always renter gillette later even if it is at a higher rate as it will not jump as high as the others in banking, auto or capital.

hi chief, after a long time.
how are u doing.
well....glaxo consumer is languishing/consolidating like hell.
glaxo pharma is also doing the same thing.
hul is becoming boring these days.
even other fmcg mnc stocks are not moving these days.
do you think with the rising dollar and depreciating rupee these
stocks will come back to bullish phase once again like how it was
5 years back for fmcg mnc stocks.
well.... coming to gillette india.... its 52 week high was 2000 and
now its 900 .... why so much crash in stock price.
the net profit is just around 100 crores ..... expected this year.
and market cap is 3,000 crores. which is very high i feel. so indian
promoter is very very greedy. so, P&G will not be interested to give
a better price for buyback/delisting this company.

better to exit the stock as it looks over valued at current levels.
what is the % of holding the indian promoter holds? any idea?

swamy.
