Excellent results by Emco for FY-08. Net Profit is up by 58.75% to Rs 644.46 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 405.97 million for FY-07. Total Income is up by 44% to Rs 9,443.6 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 6,560.2 million in FY-07.

For the March-08 quarter the Net Profit is down by 21.6% to Rs 113.8 million as compared to Rs 145.2 million for Mar-07 quarter. This has happened due to heavy dose of taxation booked in fourth quarter ended Mar-08, Rs 287.83 million as compared to Rs 71.87 million for Mar-07 quarter. The Total Income is up in Mar-08 quarter by 35.93% to Rs 3,423.13 million as compared to Rs 2,518.25 million in Mar-07 quarter.

The reported EPS for FY-08 is Rs 11.03 on Rs 2/- face value (shares split on 25 Mar 08) as compared to Rs 7.95 for FY-07.The share capital has increased to Rs 117.67 million as compared to Rs 102.09 mn. At current market price of Rs 130 the PE is less than 11.8. The Return on Equity is 17.12%. Price to Book Value is 1.1. The market capitalization comes to Rs 7,649 million. Market Capitalization to Net Sales is 0.81.

The Company has declared dividend 70% on face value of Rs 2. The dividend last year was 50% on Rs 10 face value.
