Prabhudas Lilladher has come out with its earning estimates on oil & gas sector for the quarter ended September 2008. According to the research firm, Gujarat Gas's September quarter revenue is expected to go up 8.2% at Rs 2,993 million (Rs 299.3 crore).

Gujarat Gas Company Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 23, 2008, to consider the following matters:

1. Approval of the unaudited financial results of the Company for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

2. Subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company, to be held on October 23, 2008, approval to the grant of stock options under the Gujarat Gas Company Limited Employee Stock Option Plan 2008 (ESOP 2008). Further the Company has informed that the equity shares of the Company to be allocated to the grantees of options under ESOP 2008, will be purchased on behalf of the grantees by the designated Trustees from the secondary / open market at the ruling market price. Therefore no fresh issue of equity shares is involved under the ESOP 2008....
