Jet Airways (India) Ltd. has informed the Exchange that pursuant to Section 192A(2) of the Companies Act, 1956, read with the Companies (Passing of the Resolutions by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2001, the resolution (as per attachment) is proposed to be passed by Postal Ballot. The Board of Directors have appointed Mr. Taizoon M. Khumri of M/s. T.M.Khumri & Co., Company Secretaries, as the Scrutinizer for conducting the Postal Ballot process in a fair and transparent manner. The Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Mr. Saroj K. Datta, Executive Director as the person responsible for the entire Postal Ballot Process. The Postal Ballot form duly completed should reach the Scrutinizer on or before May 17, 2008. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Executive Director after completion of the scrutiny of the Postal Ballot Forms and the results of the Postal Ballot Forms will be announced by the Executive Director or his authorized representative or any director so authorized by the Board of Directors of the Company on May 21, 2008.
