i dont know how to react what to say etc coz for me Krsna and the many gods of hinduism are part of my blood and bones.... with due reverence to all gods i would love to be in the stone temple of srirangpatna with the cauvery flowing placidly behind and i have Vishnu Sahsranam plugged to my ears.

I dont understand many things in my own religion.. They say lot of tampering has been done in all religious texts but i believe Faith is distinct from theory and i have faith with respect for all gods and i am sure that gods will never be angry with me for anything any god for that matter...

Thanks however.. we will disucss tomrrow as i would love to understand islam or even christianity if they teach me without taking away my faith....

You know all along Bhisma knew that Krsna was not a cowherd... bhisma knew there was something about this God.. .when he was sleeping on arrows and Arjun comes running to him coz for him Bhisma was so dear and he was so sad about the war, he goes running to Bhisma and Bhisma waves his hand and says step back, let me see the BLUE BOY behind you..... and the entire vishnu sahsranam is composed by him on Kurkushetra as he lay dying....

This is the para i like best in Vishnu Sahsranam and i like to listen to it in ston temples either srirangapatanam or tirupati or in Srirangam... this para is sheer bliss when brahamananda of Chinmaya sings it...::

Did u know atharva veda is not considered by many brahmins as the respectable veda... the other three are more respectable... coz ATHARVA VEDA has all information on blackmagic and medicine....

Hey Lady Commercial paper is nothing but a unsecured promisary note - there is no collateral involved. only the companies with very best credit rating manage to sell their commercial paper. it is like a Fixed deposit - it earns interest and is for max 270 days in the USA - however if the issuer goes bankrupt before the maturity - God save the purchaser of the commercial paper - It automatically become toilet paper ;)...

rn i am lousy with a lap top... my son recommended attaching a mouse to it since that was what i was finding difficult to work without.. i have symantec installed,my anti norton went a month ago when i had to get the whole pc reloaded . the compu man dint have anti nortan so he installed symantec instead... have gone to see the warriors on mreed...mreed wrote of one of the warriors about somone who fantastic at compu..Quote- "with one deft movement he cam send a trojon to your p.c" Unquote...that reminded me of the trojan my p.c man had deleted a month ago.. i called him, and sure enough there was another one, which he removed today.. i,m rather disturbed by all this rn... i dont like dishonesty of any kind and in any form..I may not come to the board that regularly henceforth but will try and stay in touch with my friends here love, Rittu ...

Please, do not enter into discussions about God for we humans are the least qualified to discuss the subject. What do we know about God! Except to wonder at the greatness of this creation, what can we do! Long back, in 1967, I had a friend by name Ismail in Calcutta. He told me "Even if there was no God, it would be necessary to invent one!". Even after 41 years, I find his statement to be true. It is necessary to have a God to rein in the mind, to rein in humanity lest they should not commit crimes against fellow human beings! If God is there, well and good. If God is not there, still well and good. Because, EXCEPT GOD, NONE has the ability to bear all these discussions and uses and abuses. In this Universe which is perhaps billions and billions of years old, our existence is less than 100 years. Are we qualified to even discuss these things. We can only `think`. When we think, let us do it constructively. If someone believes in God, let that person worship Him. If someone believes in 33 crores Gods, how does it affect others? If you believe in only one God, you worship that ONE GOD and be happy that at least you have realised the truth. If someone else believes otherwise, let him follow his beliefs....
