U have seen the credentials. The stock is on the move and u can atleast wait till u get the divident i.e 90 paise..My advice is dont sell cos this stock can easily double ur investment within six months. sell and see the stock price swell. choice is yours.

Company has announced excellent results and has already made a sharp upmove. If this working is repeated in next 2-3 qtrs, could give decent returns.

this is festival time for next 3 months and everybody will buy new clothes and women buy silk clothes more. Going by warren buffet method we can see good price rise in coming days. I saw the book value is around 48 , fave value is 2 and EPS is around 6.6 . That means 3 times the earning of Face value. Just because the stock got split and Q1-results were down but not under loss so it would not be proper to underestimate this share.But am not sure at what level to exit. If somebody has good knowledge then request you to please share your views.

Eastern silk is excitingly poised.Loaded with EPS of 6.4,PE 2.7 and book value a healthy 50 compounded with a 90 paise divident u surely cant be thinking of selling this silk.Look at the increasing volumes.Let me sound a little complacent, this stock can easily double....

silk is about to start its smooth sailing and is northward bound. good EPS, low PE and yes volumes do make it a very strong buy.The recent hovering around 17-18 levels is typical to a strong buying by a big operator and is healthy.This is a multibagger so have patience , dont let it go.Bag it before it moves multifold.

Please please do not rely on the analyst reco!
This stock is not liked by the market operators and investors as well bcoz of wide variation in results qoq! The management seems to be unprofessional!

Eastern Silk net at Rs 19cr
Eastern Silk Industries Ltd (ESIL) has reported a net profit of Rs 19.46 crore for the quarter to June 30, as against Rs 19.02 crore registered during the year-ago period. Net sales were Rs 129.93 crore (Rs 124.64 crore).
The company has declared a dividend of 45% for 2007-08. For the year to March 31, 2008, the company's profit after tax stood at Rs 58.14 crore on net sales of Rs 481.65 crore.
Commenting on the results, chairman and managing director SS Shah said: "The company's foray into home textile has yielded positive results. This particular segment of the business is expected to grow by more than 15% annually. The company has now emerged stronger after battling out recessionary conditions in the US in the previous quarter…"
going forward rupee to fall futher to rs.44 levels. eastern silk dont have any derivatives contracts pending. thus it is quite clear that it will post good profits this year. and its new plant coming up for commencement during jan-feb 09, just 4 months left. if this capacity added it will post eps rs.18 above every quater on fv-10, and fv-2 one can expect rs.3 above every quater. a part from this esi is going for adr/gdr to fund its acquitions in us and europe etc.
eastern silk industries already brought 130 acres land to set up textile sez in west bengal....
