Reliance has announced that its already running RPL on trial basis and the commercial production will commence from 15th Sept. 2008. Will someone, please tell that this production is going to check the fuel crisis in India, as RPL, will be exporting entire production to overseas markets and not even a few thousand litres of Diesal will reach the Indian consumers. Earlier also there was an RPL in 2000, wherein the share prices were jacked up with inside trading and sold to some Kuwait oil Co at Rs. 87 per share and a huge windfall gain was made by RIL. Later on the share was brought down to the level of Rs. 25-26 and the company merged with RIL in the ratio 1:11. Hope that the Senior Ambani is not having such like thoughts once again and will jack up the price of RPL to near 300 in short term and then bring it back below 100 and the investors for ride. the debacle of Rel. Power of ADAG is still fresh in the minds of small investers; who have nearly eroded half of their hard earned money in this scrip while the ADAG is enjoying the loot. SEBI may kindly intervene, and get the Rel. Power investors atleast their ORIGINAL investment back, that they made in the largest ever FLOP IPO in the Indian history...

In a move that can have major implications for foreign institutional investors, market regulator Sebi is thinking of introducing know-your-customer norms for FIIs. This is in the light of the RBI's concern on the origin of FII money in the domestic markets. The norms relating to Participatory Notes will also be up for review.

Whether good Inflation no.s or bad its usually how the media are made to interpret is how the market will take them, like how the Cartoon network business channel brought some analyst saying "oh this means there will be more Interest rate Hikes since we crossed 12%, blah blah"
Regarding end of pain, usually when you will hear on the streets will mean the pain ends:
The woods are lonely
dark and deep,
but I have promised to forget,
and miles to go before I get out of debt,
and miles to go before I get out of debt
We are ,now, in the xx month after the fall.
Is it all over now?
Is there more pain left?
I really dont care & will never again invest in any share... ...

Markets are not going anywhere. Good optimism. Watch out for US crash today. And be realistic about numbers. RPL is very weak. RIL may lose the case and go to Supreme Court. Markets does not like uncertainty and the same is happening with Reliance pack, both brothers. They did not participate at all in the last two days bounce. Inflation is more than what is projected in the channels. Find out if the sugar prices are included, which has run about 20% to 25% in the last 3 weeks. Government playing safe, but somebody will come up in the coming days hopefully. Do not go by TV channels. When crude was 2.7% up today, few channels stopped showing crude prices for about 45 minutes. So, that is media. But media also cannot help the market to go down. Just simple logic, rate of interest going high, banks shown bad results in first quarter. Look at pvt. banks nonrecovery and bad debts. Do not fool small petty investors or speculators. Yes you may be right RPL can go 2% or RIL can go 2%, but that is only for a day. Next day, movie will start from the beginning....
