Eastern Silk Industries Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on July 31, 2008, inter alia, for the following purposes:

1. To consider the annual accounts of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2008.

2. To consider recommendation of dividend, if any.

3. To take on record the un-audited financial results of the Company for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.
