Dear radhika nandlal, You are a fantastic proud Hindu lady with unmatched mind which is ready to inquire. However many of us are not so knowledgeable to quench your knowledge and even comment on your perceptions.
Notwithstanding, I will request you to read a book written by Maxwell on "India China war".
Shashi Tharoor is a well read diplomat turned politician but he has his political & diplomatic compulsions. His comments for obvious reasons have to be within limits of laid down parameters.
Once again you are welcome to your thoughts and perceptions but nations are not built on single thoughts and perceptions but on combined comprehensive strength. That was the purpose and aim of my post and thread.
By the way; are you following TED India conference held in Mysore. It may quench some of your inquisitiveness.Hear out Devdutt Pattanaik on *How God, death & heavens help us misunderstand one another* There are many more innovative ideas being discussed. Regards....

The notice was issued on 8th October, 2009 and RIL seems to be moving on.
So looks like we will be getting RIL at cheaper prices in teh next few days....

Micks,
I am serious, the NDTV News Readers consistently say
Srilanka HAVE won
India HAVE won
I am not kidding.. this is a new thing...previously it was HAS now its HAVE.. thats why i asked if grammar rules have changed.. What according to you is the correct thing?
You hear next time.. in the paper too they publish a HAVE after the country. India HAVE won.. i was perplexed.. you know me and grammar are poles apart and I always wish someone would point my mistakes so i can improve... and nothing like a virtual pointer. LOL.
btw Ayurveda always maintained Suryanamaskar is an important regimen.. Spotting the rising son and focussing on it is good is what Ayurveda believes...thats why gold is so important in Ayurved.
Yes gastronomic juices are at a high when you live in cold climes...

So when do we have it, the streets lined with trees in whose shade we could see hollihocks and bluebells and a vairety of mushrooms? as in those fairy tale books of Goldilocks... when dear lord.. when?.. I prayed and prayed and in a week`s time Jairam Ramesh uttered this.. so when next do we see all this implemented..
Mr. Minister, get baba ramdev`s advice on which trees to put where to absorb all the pollution from the air?
In the meantime i urge all of you to tell your friends and relatives not to dump trash on roadside, outside your residence and other public places. Fight for garabage disposal in your area at least. I for one oversee all these thing in my locality. What about you guys? Dont be paper tigers be local tigers.
STOP TRASHING YOUR JUNK IN PUBLIC PLACES. STOP! SHAMELESS CITIZENS...
Urdu (اردو) is an Indo-European language which originated in India, most likely in the vicinity of Delhi from where it spread to the rest of the subcontinent. Urdu along with Hindi forming the Hindustani language is the second most popular `first` language and second most popular `first or second` language in the world. Urdu by itself is the twentieth most popular `first` language in the world. It developed from the interaction between local Indian Sanskrit-derived Prakrits and the Persian languages. This process took place mostly in military camps, and word Urdu means "army" or "horde" in Turkish.
It soon became the language of the Mughals, distinguished linguistically from local languages by its large and extensive Persian-Arabic vocabulary superimposed on a native Hindi base of grammar, usages and vocabulary. The result was what has been considered by some to be one of the world`s most beautiful languages, the "Kohinoor" ("Mountain of Light," a famed native, large and brilliant diamond) of India. It is widely spoken today in both India and Pakistan and all countries having a sizeable South Asian Diaspora.
