As per tea association 2009 tea season to see shortfall in output of atleast75-80 million kg. this is mainly because both domestic and export demand for tea are steadily increasing even as the production remains the same.tata tea being one of the major player will benefit from this going forward.further the company is also planning to raise prices.

Tata Tea is being kicked out from all top cities in India by the strong regional companies like Wagh akri, Sapat Tea, Marvel and Duncans.
Tata Tea is being kicked out from all good retail outlets in Baroda, Ahmedadaad, Surat, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Indore, and now in Hyderabad Sapat is kicking out Tata Tea squarely.
Sell this stock and go to some of oil company stock instead !

Captive steel plants like Tata Steel, JSW Steel, SAIL will benefit tremendously from Iron Ore duty hike from 15% to 20% ... so all the exporters will be forced to sell it in INdia to the above 3 at a cheaper prices as otherwise their exports will be un-competitive .. in a way this is not good for the ore companies and I feel that in the global competitive scenario this may not augur well for them . but then in this markets ones misery is others gain ...

It may take some time to get your price. Be watching. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Dear Guest,
You are posting similar messages. I am not in India. I am in USA and I see TATA tea in all stores and I had them in UK and Frankfurt. I have purchased the packs while I was in Malasia and Singapore.
I checked your reference at Madurai and I confirm that it is available in all shops. If you want please contact "Saravana stores. Gem Plaza complex, Alagar koil road, Madurai-625002". or Lalitha Super market, Velachery post office road, Velachery, Chennai-600042.

Or you can write to the marketing manager of the company for the availability of the packs in your place of residence.
Hope this information will serve your needs.
V.Krishnamoorthy ...
