Apollo Hospitals is planning to set up a health knowledge city at Aragonda in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, reports Business Standard.

Apollo Aragonda Health Knowledge City (AHKC), this would come up on 100 acres. The new city would be operational by 2012.

The hospital has already acquired the land for Rs 100 million and is planning to promote the project through public-private partnership.

The group is also planning to dilute 5% of the ownership in Apollo Health Hiway to attract investors to its proposed expansion plans
