Any idea when the forms will be sent?...

You need to think strategically before making such a call about the TATAs. You think they wouldn't have think about this loss. If you really think so, then read on....

- If NANO gets delayed, People will lose interest from Nano which will hit its sale.
- Bajaj and Renault are coming up with their small car in sometime, if the Nano project is delayed by another couple months, and if they come in at a lesser price than Nano, then who will take Nano at that time, No One. everyone would wait for Bajaj to come with their vehicle and buy that. MAJOR LOSS...??

I can write a couple more smaller issues, but i think you would understand the micro economics and strategies involved at such levels.

TTM has come out with a Rights Issue at 6:1 Ratio. I have 250 Shares of TTM since a while now, so whatsoever i am eligible for (41.xx) shares, do i have to buy the shares at the declared price of 295/-?
If so, how shall i buy the shares?

You will receive the form and a booklet with the details of the issue. In the form there will be details of how many rights shares you are eligible for and the amount per unit. By the way, I have not yet received the forms. Has anyone received it so far? Thanks...

What strategy?? 1. Bajaj has no experience manufacturing cars (they have experience only making autos ...LOL) 2. Also they clearly said that their car will be low cost but much above Nano's proposed cost of 1 lakh (it will be around 1.5 lakhs) So please get your facts right....

Where did you get the number 295? What I had read they are giving two classes of securities with different voting rights. One at a price of Rs. 340. And the other at a price of Rs. 305. Given the current price of Rs. 430 looks attractive. But clouds on the horizon are 1) How profitability will be affected due to the delay in launching the Nano. Margins were tight before Mamta started her tricks. 2) How soon they can integrate and if not make profits at least reach break even at Jaguar and Land Rover. If they continue bleeding then Tata Motors will be in big trouble. ...

Yes, you can buy the shares only at the declared price. You have to fill in the form which will be sent by the company and send it back to them along with the cheque....
