Be it short covering , dead cat bounce, relief rally. Call it whatever it is, i will go long and win. Today 9 AM i told i am going long with RIL and etc and now we can see whats happening.

Financial crisis news people are seeing now and reacting, well market is most brainy. She will always be proactive and not reactive.

just before i sign off while i was reading your msgs, i read some #ole who adviced folks to short on opening bell today to gain handsomely..i dont know what his name is, but he started some thread of nifty at 3600..

using that thread god only knows how many times he has ruined retail here..and then there was one more kid who was telling he wont cover his short in opening bell instead wait till mid afternoon to cover..

Greed has destroyed there mind, to see 3600 they wont mind our country under a nuclear attack...bunch of jokers

i deployed good chunk today as i wanted to make quick bucks for my entire expenditure of US trip, and i got it today itself..

your messages i read few days back, always makes sense...and its great to read your blog instead of some kids who are so damn obsessed in only technicals :-)

It seems there is pessimism all around. So let me add some more. A large number of people who have been buying are expecting a sharp bounce back to 4000+/-. But I don`t think market is going to oblige them. Despite RBI and SEBI measures today, which if not for DOW would have provided a bounce tomorrow, the markets are going to open gap down below 3500 tomorrrow. And chances of it recovering in the afternoon will depend on how much of a cut other markets in Asia and go through. Today two other emergin markets - Russia and Brazil are down 16% and 15%. In fact, Russia was closed due to sharp fall and in Brazil the trade was halted twice after sharp cuts. Compare that to the fall that we have seen in our markets. If you look at the markets from a short trader`s point of view, we can still fall another 5-10% from 3600. The shorts are not going to be in a hurry to cover up the shorts given the global gloom. So any hopes of a bounce back should be kept away while trading. I expect to see 3300 before we see a significant 10-12-15% kind of pullback. Brace yourself for more pain in the market, unless you are a short seller. Disclosure - I am carrying naked short put positions in 3600 Nifty at Rs.164. Intend to convert it into a covered Put by selling Nifty around 3600 if I get a chance tomorrow....

Dear patience Now CRR rate hike is announced. Earlier PN ban was lifte. Petrol and Diesal price will be shortly reduced. Interest rate will be reduced. Inflation due to this measures will be reduced to single digit. Hence market will stabilise around this level if not relief rally. Hence my suggestion is to buy not to sell. Eventhough US market is down I anticipate recovery in late hours or tomorrow. Strat buying from tomorrow afternoon. aahoo (the real bull of Indian story) ...

HeHe Patience, I waited for those 3800 figures to close my shorts of yesterday as part of first thing in the morning and went LONG today! :) I had no choice but to go LONG as BEARS were getting too GREEDY! :) Smart traders / Investors should use such market inefficiencies. Anyway, 3600 is just a number. I still fail to understand why people are so much worried about a number as if when Nifty will be around 3600, everything will turn RIGHT and those ppl will MASSAGE their EGO! Let those number come if that has to come! Being RIGHT and Making MONEY are totally different thing! :) Just by being 10% right, smart investors / traders can make MONEY! :) Gud luk & happy investing! :)...
