What do you expect other than delay, when you have one Registrar and Transfer Agent monopolising transfer and Registry work.? What steps has SEBI taken to promote Share Registry and transfer work. Obviously, SEBI can place an upper limit on one Registrar performing Registry work of say not more than 100 Companies. Intime Spectrum was a small time operator in this field a decade back. After debacle by MCS and Karvy it seems Intime Spectrum is having a field day in holding investors to ransom. They seldom pick up their telephone.Time for SEBI to act.
