HUL should grow top line at 15% and achieve NPM of 13% or more. Therefore it should be able to declare net profit of close to Rs 2100 or an EPS of more than Rs 9.5 for 12 month period. I am also confident that the co should be able to declare bonus at the ratio of 1:1 sooner than later.

Hindustan Unilever Limited has informed the Exchange regarding the details of the increase in the Paid-up Capital of the Company as under:- Authorised Capital - Rs. 2,25,00,00,000; Existing Paid-up Capital - 217,87,65,017 Equity share of Re. 1 each; Shares allotted/increased by - 3,91,985 Equity share of Re. 1 each; Revised Paid-up Capital - 217,91,57,002 Equity share of Re. 1 each. The Existing Issued capital - 220,90,00,789 Equity share of Re. 1 each; Shares allotted/increased by - 3,91,985 Equity share of Re. 1 each; Revised Issued capital - 220,93,92,774 Equity share of Re. 1 each. The difference between issued capital and paid up capital is due to the Buy back made from open Market as per Special Resolution passed through Postal Ballot on September 14, 2007. The total number of shares bought back under the Scheme were 3,02,35,772. The new shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing capital. Further, the Committee of the Board, at its meeting held on September 19, 2008, has allotted 3,91,985 Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each under ESOP. Therefore, the paid-up capital of the Company has increased to 2,17,91,57,002 shares & the Issued capital has increased to 220,93,92,774 shares....

In fact there is no good news to fuel this rally in DOW ( I think it's a false rally, anyway we will enjoy this ride ), until they find a solution for Housing problem, Their market can not receover, If this move does not provide the stability they might fall another 15 % to 20 % in a near term...

Not kudos to me.. kudos to Alexander Elder... the way he puts it across in his books.. lol.. ordinarily TRINs are between 0.5 to 3... but last week the TRIN was greater than 100 when i told pranks its market tops there..lol.. and daybefore it was TRIN of 0.05 which was again rare and i knew that they were going to rally.... its not that the treasury spoke or anything.. its the sentiments that they close with matters at least as far as momentum goes... it could have been another ordinary 150 point rally but it was the TRIN that said the market had momentum to carry the good news to close with a bang. lol... thats what TA does, it indicates if good/bad news will matter to the upward/downward momentum or not...

You are absolutley Spot on RN, at some point DOW was down 100 points, I thought tomorrow we will be having a bad day, but your TA worked very well, ( DOW up 442 points, NASDAQ up by 95 Points , and S& P up by 51 points )..
