i know this is a good company but technically it is very weak and now downward journey has begun and going to touch 39.50 first.

NEYVELI LIGN has broken through the floor of a rising trend channel. This indicates a slower rising rate at first, or the start of a more horizontal development. The stock is between the support at rupee 50.00 and the resistance at rupee 70.00. A definitive break through of one of these levels predicts the new direction. Positive volume balance, i.e. high volume in days of rising prices and low volume in days of falling prices, strengthens the stock in the short term. Mr chani, regarding NLC neyveli lignite corp. it is not a company based on coal but lignite a poorer variety of coal. the comapny is more into power generation than just coal mining. it has leased mines even in rajasthan not just in neyveli. except for a current turmoil in the staffing of contract labour the company has a good earning as they have consistantly been producing power at low cost and earning reasonably to govt exchequer. This is a good buy. Tamil nadu state is facing acute power shortage because of its internal problem from labour contractors. a good revenue earner

Good warning assessment. The stock of `Neyveli Lignite` can become Raakh (ash), as far as its stock price is concerned. The fall upto Rs 40 level looks IMMINENT. The quotes of even good performing stocks are taking huge dips. And, the consequences for Neyveli Lignite can be just imagined, whose PAT in the Q2 has taken a plunge. It uses Lignite, which is the worst quality of coal, gives THE poorest energy yield per tonne and thus may be worse performers than the other energy stocks. Simply, one should immediately come out of this stock, at whatever price one is able to get immediately. Friends pl act early.
