Sesa Goa Ltd. has submitted to the Exchange the result reported by the Scrutinizer, Advocate, Mr.R.G. Ramani with reference to the two Special Resolutions moved by Postal Ballot, pursuant to section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956, under Notice dated 29-September-2008 for the approval of the shareholders. Further, the said resolutions have been approved by the requisite majority of the shareholders. Sesa Goa Ltd has informed BSE that the members of the Company, by way of Postal Ballot, have approved the Special Resolutions, with requisite majority:

1. Special Resolution pursuant to section 17 of the Companies Act, 1956 for amendment to the Object Clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company.

2. Special Resolution pursuant to section 149(2A) of the Companies Act, 1956 for commencement of business....

I have seen the low of Sesa...what will be the next high...i have 125 shares @ 125 and i want to see Rs 300 price for sesa...is it possible? I can hold for 2 year...

PINC Research has recommended a buy rating on Sesa Goa with a target of Rs 95. Sesa Goa Ltd’s (SGL’s) results were in line with expectations as it reported net sales of Rs 8.8 billion (+130%) and net profit of Rs 3.4 billion (+260%)....

Sesa Goa was down over 5% at 77 rupees in line with its global peers on concerns of waning global demand for iron ore due to deepening financial crisis. Sharp fall in commodity prices has also hurt mining companies` margins and profitability...

This might be the right time to enter the script.Along term holder could see this price as gold if he has a 2-5 yr holding plan.
short term buyers can expect a 10-15% gain in thuis month and dec as well....
