about 4 billion crowns ($712.6 million) while maintaining other targets.

Telenor, which is due to launch in India later this year, said its rollout combined with better terms from equipment vendors will reduce capex requirements.

"The earlier communicated peak funding of 155 billion rupees is now expected to be somewhat lower," Telenor said in a statement, adding that the reduction would be around 30-35 billion rupees.

"The market share ambition and other financial targets, including EBITDA break-even approximately three years after launch and operating cash flow break-even approximately five years after launch, are still valid," it added.

Telenor added that India`s Foreign Investment Promotion Board`s formally approved Telenor to increase its shareholding in its Indian venture Uninor to 67.25 per cent.

Telenor says it is the second largest foreign operator in Asia following Vodafone. It has operations in the Nordics, Eastern Europe and across Asia

the invstors should keep in mind that unitech financial results for june 09 and sep 09 were pretty bad and in june they booked profit on sale of saket office but did not show it separately and merged with real estate profits in sep 09 quarter thet booked profit from sale of investments in real estate projects and again this was not shown separately but clubbed with real estate. these are one off items and non recurring and as a real professional co which the co claims they should have shown these separatly so that investors have a good view of their recurring profits one other point needs to be kept in mind relating to their 32.75% stake in telecom venture which will start around dec 09 this venture is going to be a loss one for the next 3 years at least as per telenor ceo statement and unitech will have to book their share of loss which is 32.75% STARTING JAN 09 THIS WILL BE A HUGE ONE AND WILL DEPRESS THE PAT OF UNITECH FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARSIN MY VIEW THE UNITECH SHARE IS HIGHLY OVERPRICED TAKING A SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM VIEW AND FAIR PRICE IS IN THE REGION OF 50 ONLY AS DETAILED BY ME ON 7-9-09 AND PUBLISHED IN MONEY CONTROL ON 7-9-09...

There is no chance of Unitech going up in short term. Everyone is selling in rallies! And expect unitech to touch around 90 and then again sell out. They are calling a heavy resistance at 92!

Last time when nifty was 5000+, unitech was 110+ which is when you bought I believe. And market is at same levels and unitech cant even touch 90. If you are long term investor, you can hold and average when it goes below 75...around 70 that is.

Dont average now, we could see 88-90 actually a HIGH value and as market slips, you can see this going down to 70s level for sure!
So average then, for now either sell or hold. If you sell, re enter at 70s level....
