Agreed, as already in my earlier poost i had mentioned that it is going to test below 40 levels soon.
The Uttarakhand factor would only come in after Q1-Q-2 2010, till then no real reason for this stock to appreciate
significantly, given the fact that it`s PE valuation at curent levels is expensive.
It`s better to book profits at current levels and re enter later.

jessywadehraNO WAY !! At current PE ratio of over 40 !!!! and with a particularly bad year with marginal recovery only and difficulty in arranging funds for capex and expansion, this stock is doomed.. There is a lot of speculation on this stock by recent mutual fund activity and due to its announced QIP, wait for the results end-Oct and look at its performance from Nov 2 onwards !! Target is 40-38-36-33-31.5-28.5...

Ashok Leyland is in talks with Grupo Plaza of Argentina to set up a joint venture there.
The joint venture is for producing buses and trucks in Argentina, it is reliably learnt. sources close to the development say that the talks are in preliminary stage
Grupo Plaza (the Plaza Group) is a large public transportation company with a strong presence in Argentina.
Sources in the know have told Business Line that the group owns both inter-city and intra-city buses.
It has four companies operating long distance buses and twenty intra-city bus services. In addition, it also operates train services.
Incidentally, Ashok Leyland’s principal competitor in India, Tata Motors, is also in talks with (Ashok Leyland’s erstwhile partner) Iveco of Italy, to set up a manufacturing centre in Argentina.
This is the second time that Ashok Leyland is attempting to pitch tent in South America.
A few years ago, it was in talks to take over a Brazilian company called Tupy, but a deal did not materialise.

jessywadehraSell your stock at this price.. you`ll not get 45 on this stock for another year or so at least.. in fact, the downturn would start soon with the numbers in late Oct.. PE ratio or 35+ is totally unjustified and unreasonable for this stock.. Why wouldnt you buy a Maruti instead.....

Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) soon as part of its Rs 1,190 crore contract to
supply 875 buses this fiscal. It would fulfil its contract to deliver 5,000 buses to
