The exemption is hogwash. Rs 1030 per year translates into a little over rs 86 per month in the hands of the tax payer. Wonder how it is going to neutralise the cost of Rs 75 per KG of tuar dal or the increase of rs 4 per litr of petrol. Basically a people unfriendly budget. how come a person having income above 12 lacs get more benefit of 28326, when slab has just changed from 1.5 lacs to 1.6 lacs...

Warren Buffett the world`s second-richest person speaking on television said that the US economy has "no bounce" and will take time to recover, but there is no risk of deflation to push it further into despair.
Buffett lamented that the slowdown has hurt his insurance and investment company Berkshire Hathaway Inc, which runs close to 80 businesses and in the January-to-March period had its first quarterly loss since 2001. "We have had no bounce" in the economy, Buffett said
