Hi,

I have a 2 year old son.I would like to invest money for his education. I can invest around 10,000 rs per month. Assuming that he would go for his higher studies after 15 years, can you please tell me how should I invest this amount and what will be total amount at maturity.

no, you should stop paying... invest this amount into mutual fund schemes through SIP on monthly basis....take an term plan of LIC and invest into SIP..ban gaya sasta aur best ULIP plan......

i have a case study in which it is given that there is an old women of 65yrs of age she is also a widow and has no successor.she has 6 lakhs of rupees with her and want to invest in such a manner that she can earn minimum of rs 6000 per month.so i would like to know that how she can do it in practical life?(please give me the answer as soon as possible along with facts and figures) ...

-HIGH RETURNS & HIGH RISK invest in EQUITY M.Funds
-REASONABLE RETURNS & RESONABLE RISK invest in Balanced Mutual Funds
-For 7%-9% annula returns invest in Arbitrage Funds. (LOW RISK)
-For 10%-15% invest in Debt Funds (LOW RISK)...

Dear sujatailu, Just a small correction in ur info.

NSC interest is taxable but PPF interest is tax free.

But at the same time, NSC interest is available for 80C benefit for all the years except last year.

PPF is a better option. [1] less papers to be handled [2] if Pass Book is lost duplicate can be easily obtained [3] returns on both are same, but income on PPF is taxable. [3] part withdrawals can be easily made in PPF

previously my conveyance reimbursement was Rs 6000/- should it has to change as 1200/- just because of FBT abolished....

budget is for uplifting the rural poors who voted them to power.but they failed to do any improvement for those rural poors during the last 60 years,but they multiplied their own wealth.
bureacratic system needs total scanning to be linked with the masses,if this failed then people will take them to task.
what happened to bring back swiss bank funds.
