Posted by : MMB MessengerCummins India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that: "We wish to inform you that the Honble Bombay High Court vide its order dated March 20, 2009, has approved the Scheme of amalgamation of Cummins Sales and Service India Limited (CSS) and Cummins Auto Services Limited (CASL) wholly owned subsidiaries of Cummins India Limited (CIL) into CIL, Appointed Date being April 1, 2008. The Certified Copy of the said order has been received on March 30, 2009 and the same has been filed with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Pune, on April 1, 2009. Therefore, in terms of the Scheme approved by the Honble Bombay High Court, CSS and CASL stand amalgamated into CIL on April 1, 2009". Further, the Company has also informed that in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation approved by the Honble Bombay High Court, CIL is not required to issue/ allot any shares to the shareholders of CSS and CASL, being wholly owned subsidiaries of CIL....

The Certified Copy of the said Order has been received on March 30, 2009 and the same has been filed with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Pune, on April 01, 2009.
Therefore, in terms of the Scheme approved by the Honble Bombay High Court CSS and CASL stand amalgamated into CIL on April 01, 2009.

Cummins
Posted by : Cool BullThe company had produced fabulous results in December quarter. Subsequently the management issued a statement indicating cautious outlook looking to external environment. Bears used this opportunity and tried to hammer the stock down. That took share price of Cummins from 225+ levels to 155 level. My hunch is company has been doing well in March quarter also and when results are out or round about that time, share price could touch Rs.250/- or thereabout. Let us wait and watch....
