MMB MessengerAdani Enterprises Limited has informed the Exchange that as per Section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956, read with the Companies (Passing of the Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules 2001, the consent of the shareholders to be obtained by means of postal ballot for following special resolutions : The Board of Directors of a company can make any loan, investment or give guarantee or provide any security beyond the prescribed ceiling of (1) Sixty percent of aggregate of the paid up capital and free reserves or, (2) Hundred per cent of its free reserves, whichever is more, if Special Resolution is passed by the shareholders of the Company. Adani Enterprises Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 787.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 669.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 23959.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 to Rs 27256.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
The Consolidated Results are as follows
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 1276.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 935.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.
